An in-depth guide to help you make your first referral!
Referrals
The deal
For successfully referring a friend to make a purchase on our store, you will receive a R100 discount coupon to use on a future purchase. For completing a purchase using your referral link, your friend will receive a R100 discount coupon for their first order with us!
Terms & conditions
Your desired referral must not already have a registered Mad Dogs+ account.
The minimum order amount for the discount to apply for your friend is R500.
In order to receive your R100 discount coupon, your referrel must complete their purchase.
Step-by-step guide
Step 1 - Log in or create account
First of all, make sure you are logged into your Mad Dogs+ account. You can either login through the Rewards widget or via the portal page. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one here.
Step 2 - Open the Mad Dogs+ widget
Once you have successfully logged in, you will need to navigate to the Rewards widget.
Step 3 - Copy referral link
Click on the widget to open it and scroll down to the 'refer your friends' section. A link will be located within the box that you can copy directly by clicking on the icon next to the box.
Step 4 - Send referral link
Once the link has been copied, you will need to send this to your desired friend(s).
(Note: It can be used multiple times for different individuals to use).
Step 5 - Enter required information
Your friend(s) will need to click this link which will direct them to our online store and the Rewards widget will automatically pop up. It will request an email address so that the referral can be claimed.
Step 6 - Claim referral reward
Once your friend has entered their email address, they will need to click the 'claim' button within the widget.
Step 7 - Copy referral code
The widget will then display a discount code that can be copied directly by clicking on the icon next to the box or the 'apply code' button.
Step 8 - Head to checkout
Your friend will then need to browse the store, add items to their cart and proceed to the checkout.
Step 9 - Apply discount code
Once they have reached the checkout, they will need to paste the copied discount code into the appropriate discount code box and click 'apply'.
Step 10 - Complete purchase
The R100 discount coupon will then apply to their total. They will then need to complete their purchase.
Step 11 - Receive account credit
When the purchase has been completed, your account will be automatically credited with the R100 discount coupon.
