Our brand-new Summer 23-24 collection is now officially available with Takealot.com. This collection is the second drop that has been created in association with South Africa’s leading ecommerce retailer. Our first drop landed during May 2023 which was made up of a variety of Winter styles.
This new collection features six unique items that have all been designed with comfort and style in mind, while remaining true to our nostalgic brand identity. The colour palette displays a balanced combination of neutral tones with splashes of bolder shades to create a diverse selection of niche clothing items. All garments have been produced in limited quantities, making them exclusive, distinct and collectable.
Uniform Basketball Jersey
The Uniform Basketball Jersey is a brand-new item to the Mad Dogs Clothing line. This version of the garment is made using 100% Pique Knit Cotton, which has been completed in the vibrant Baller Blue colourway. This material is characterised by the small and intricate woven pattern which creates elevated ventilation for a variety of activities. The front logo and rear number have been produced in a high-quality screen print for increased durability and premium finish. The smaller frontal logo has been finished in gold embroidery for subtle detail and textural diversity.
Uniform Terry Polo
The Uniform Terry Polo is a silhouette that has been seen previously, but this version has been made using 100% Terry Toweling Cotton which is a brand-new material that has never been used by Mad Dogs before. The toweling for this garment has been completed in the bright Fresh Mint colourway for a bold and colourful presence. This material is characterised by the small woven loops on the exterior of the fabric and its stretchable nature. The frontal logo is located on the chest pocket, which has been finished in high-quality embroidery. This garment also features a button-up self-collar which allows for a relaxed yet smart form.
Uniform Work Shirt
The Uniform Work Shirt is also a brand-new item that has now been added to the Mad Dogs Clothing roster. This version of the garment has been made using 100% Cotton Twill, which has been completed in the Natural White colourway. In fact, this material is completely undyed within the production process, giving off a natural and muted appearance. The Cotton Twill material is both durable and sturdy, allowing the garment to embody its original inspiration from a traditional work shirt. The frontal logo is located on the chest pocket, which has been finished in high-quality embroidery and the rear logo has been screen printed directly onto the garment. Both logos have been completed in Bottle Green, allowing for a contrasted and bold appearance.
Uniform Classic Shorts
These are not the first pair of shorts we have released in recent times; however, this pair features a newly developed pattern for a unique fit. The Uniform Classic Shorts are made using 100% Cotton Fleece, which has been completed in the muted Comet Grey colourway. The front and rear logos have been embroidered directly onto the garment for a high-quality and premium finish. These shorts also feature an elastic waistband, adjustable drawstring, two integrated side pockets and a single external rear pocket.
Uniform Caps
The Uniform Cap has been featured in previous collections before, most recently within the Urban Experience / 2023 / Drop I. There are two versions of this item available on Takealot.com, one of which has been completed in Royal Blue and the other in Mustard Yellow. These caps are both made from 100% Heavy Washed Cotton which display a weathered and vintage presence. Both caps feature embroidered logos located on the front, left and right-side panels and an adjustable Velcro strap on the rear, making them versatile items that can be worn by a wide variety of sizes.
Uniform Soccer Jersey
At the core, the Uniform Soccer Jersey has been designed using a standard retro t-shirt pattern for a box-style fit. This garment is made using 100% Single Jersey Cotton, completed in the rich Royal Navy colourway. The front and rear numbers have been screen printed directly onto the garment, finished in muted gold. The smaller logos located on the upper chest and rear logo located below the collar have been embroidered in gold for textural diversity and a premium aesthetic. This garment also features a classical all-over print which has been screen printed onto the jersey.
