Yes. This is the original Mad Dogs brand which has been officially established since 1993 and started in Greenmarket Square, Cape Town.

At this stage we do not have any physical retail outlets. Our products can only be purchased from our retail partners.

Does Mad Dogs have an online store?

Although we do not sell our products directly, you can visit our online shop to view all available products from our variety of diffferent retail partners. Purchases will be completed via the given retail partner directly.

Why does Mad Dogs have an address on Google?

The registered displayed address on our Google Business page is our storage facility, not a physical retail outlet. Please do not navigate yourself or anyone else to this location as it is not a walk-in facility.

Where can I purchase Mad Dogs products?

Our products can be purchased from our retail partners. You can also visit our online shop to view all available products.

Can I make a return or exchange with Mad Dogs?

No. Returns and exchanges will need to be completed directly with the given retailer you completed your purchase with. We are happy to provide support but cannot process these requests directly.

Do all retailers stock the same products?

No. All of our retailers will sell their own exclusive items depending on their own preference with regard to design, colour and season.

Do all items from different retailers cost the same?

No. Depending on the given item, the price will differ between retailers. However, all items will remain within a similar price range to make sure there is a set pricing expectation for our brand.

No. As long as you have a registered business, your location doesn't matter. We are open to exporting products outside of South Africa.

What is the License Solution?

The License Solution is a gateway solution that allows any individual or business to become an independent and exclusive seller of Mad Dogs products.

What is an independent seller?

This means that an individual or business will sell Mad Dogs products exclusively via their own sales network and channels. This will be supported by the use of our official branding and intellectual property (IP).

Is there an MOQ?

We do have a recommended MOQ for sellers. However, this is fleixble in accordance to the financial constraints and desired strategy of the seller.

What is Private Label?

In short, our Private Label framework offers retailers, brands and business a turn-key solution to create their very own clothing and apparel. Whether it be for a promotion or customer sales, we can create your very own custom products using our established resources.

What is the MOQ?

The official MOQ for the Private Label solution is 50 units per unique style. This MOQ inludes the required size curve.

What size options are available?

We offer a size curve of Small, all the way up to XXX-Large.

What is the pricing model?

Similar to our B2B Solutions, we will charge a wholesale price for the required items. This price will change slightly depending on how many total units are ordered. If these items are being sold directly to consumers, the retail price will be determined by the business or company selling them.

Are these Mad Dogs branded products?

No. The Private Label framework is not designed to sell Mad Dogs branded products, but rather allow retailers, brands and businesses to create their own branded clothing using our trusted and established resources.

What is the production lead time?

For production specifically, our estimated lead time is 6-8 weeks. This does not include additional lead times required for designing and other development processes.

Are the products locally made?

Yes. All of our products are made locally in South Africa which includes the sourcing of raw materials from local suppliers.

What is Commerce?

In short, our Commerce framework provides businesses the opportunity to make use of our trusted resources to create or update their very own online store using Shopify as a platform.

How much does it cost?

The cost of the build will vary from project to project. We will provide an official quote based on your needs before proceeding with any development. It must be noted that the client will need to pay for a monthly subscription and once-off payment for a desired theme.

How long does it take?

On average, we estimate the time of a build to be anywhere between 2-4 weeks. The lead time will depend on the complexity of the project and what resources are required.

What is a Shopify theme?

The theme is a design element that will need to be purchased by the client directly with Shopify. Essentially, the theme will dictate the look and feel of the website, along with additional sales features. Free themes are available but come with limited features, functionality and customisation.

Does my business need to be a clothing brand?

Although our direct expertise are within the fashion industry, your business does not need to be a clothing brand in order to make use of our Commerce solution. As long as you have a business and a vision, we can make it happen.

Will my online store be fast?

Yes. We will take all the necessary steps and make use of best practices to ensure your online store is fast and efficient. All online stores are tested using GTmetrix and Google PageSpeed Insights.

Will my online store be mobile friendly?

Yes. The Shopify platform and all themes supported by Shopify are mobile friendly across all devices including iOS and Android.
